RJKibbe,
Free for Everything I Need
I absolutely love this app for tracking my weight training. I can quickly and easily set up new routines and then repeat and tweak them for future workouts. It’s also very simple to add additional exercises to the workout and rearrange them.

I’ve tried several other top similar apps, and they all have issues that impede my workouts. This one doesn’t. Even better most other apps force you into paying after a while. This one doesn’t. I think there are routines and other features that you can pay for, but I have no need for them. I will buy something anyway just to thank the developers for making such an awesome app.

Only recommendations I have are:
1. The personal record tracker seems to have a mind of its own. Sometimes it shows personal records, but usually it doesn’t. Not a big deal, but should be fixed.
2. Should be able to set the default to not share workouts with the app community. It’s not a competition for me and I have no desire to share my stuff.

Thanks!

Nate Loudon,
Awesome app! A couple of things missing.
First off I think this is the best app on the App Store for barbell users of all disciplines. It’s really good looking, responsive, and pretty intuitive to get going on. The community features seem pretty cool but I don’t have any friends who use it so I can’t really comment on how it actually works in real life.

The two things I would love to see added in the future are: 1. Built in rest timer feature. I sometimes try to do other stuff between sets and I forget to check to see when 3 minutes is up. It would be nice if the app did this and I feel like it would be easy to implement.

2. Better HealthKit integration. I use an Apple Watch, and I would love it if Gravitus could upload strength training activities to my apple health app.

I have also had it crash a couple of times but it keeps your workout saved (I.e. if it crashes you don’t have to go back and re-log everything).

Overall this is a fantastic app and the one I use. I was using Rep Count before which is also a great app, but the thing about gravitus that won me over was the built in RPE feature. Keep up the great work you guys, this thing is awesome!

Anaforlife,
overall great
I like it overall, but there are a couple things I wish were added. It would be nice to add a checkmark to know what exercises I’ve completed during a workout (I don’t always go in order so sometimes I forget if I’ve done all of the sets of a specific workout). It would also be nice if there were a tab to keep workouts I consistently do. I don’t like how if one time I delete one exercise (due to lack of time, too busy, etc) and the original workout is changed. It would be nice if it would change for the workout I am currently doing (and be able to post the workout with the changes) but have a template that doesn’t change. Other than that, it’s great!

Fleshfeast,
Great features (no longer losing workouts)
I love the full screen mode where it tells you how much weight and how many reps to do, one lift at a time. I'm relatively new to lifting and like to keep track of everything I do, but trying to keep notes on paper or in a notes app on my phone was a bit annoying. With this app, I can set everything up beforehand, and then when doing my workout I'm just tapping a checkmark after every set, and it tells me what to do next.

My old review said that I was losing workout logs. The app has since been updated and as of Sep 12, 2017, all seems to be working fine now.

DKLAW89,
Great app, currently seems down
I love this app. Really no complaints other than as of this morning I can not get passed the initial loading screen. I’ve reset my phone. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I tried to visit to the gravitus website to get a contact email but it seems to be out of service. I imagine it will be remedied quickly which is why I left five stars, I just did not know how else to make my issue known.

Edit. Got passed initial loading, only to fail to login.

2nd edit. Working as of 6 EST.

Drumminangoleiro,
Awesome app, hope they add more features!
I’ve been using this app for about 6 months now and really enjoy it. I like how easy it is to customize the workouts and track RPE. I like the analytics feature and keeping an eye on my progress and workload.

It’s cool that they have a way to do a “custom total”, but I do wish they would add a way to customize volume for multiple exercises so that you could track volume by body part, or track all of your volume for accessory lifts along with the main lifts.

Incredible
The workout app I’ve been waiting and looking for… few things I don’t like is that it can be slightly slow / glitchy especially with the analytics part of it, also, if ur phone records in hdr , it won’t upload it will just say processing forever , so skip the hassle and just turn hdr off or screen record the video and that fixes that! Besides that, awesome, incredible, motivating app!!!

Great for weekly progression
Gravitus has been the best workout app that I have used so far. I’m a competitive power lifter and my training usually has a linear progression within a 6-10 week block so being able to “repeat” a workout is wonderful. I do the same lifts every Monday and Gravitus will show you what you did last week.

I agree with other users that I would love the Apple Watch Activity/health integration.

I would also really like to pre-plan workouts so I can have the whole training block set up and not have to create the workout every day.

OhUWahnDat,
Lost Password...Now What?
I really liked this app for tracking my training. I recently got a new phone and attempted to login but I forgot my password. The app doesn’t offer way to access it without it. It doesn’t offer an option to reset your password. I would like to login to view my older training logs, but can’t seem to find a way to login. So I’m off to look for another app. For the time that I did use it, it was great. I ended up signing up for a subscription for the time I used the app so I could keep track of volume, which was very useful for making sure I was recovering well enough.

Unable to see next workout
I purchased Greg Nuckols Average to Savage 2.0 and am very disappointed that I am unable to the entire workout schedule. I have completed the first training day and can’t even see the next work out. I just get a message “Rest & Recover Until Thursday.” I don’t want to wait until Thursday to see the next work out. I should be able to see, not only the next work out, but the entire schedule so I can plan out my training schedule. In addition, I would like the ability to change the schedule from 3 days to 4.

The app seems to work well, but the training schedule flaws will prevent me from using the app until a change is made.
