This app helps tracking your progress on the fitness program "nSuns 5/3/1 LP"
If you're as tired as me of d*cking around with excel spreadsheet / scribble notes when trying to track your progress on the nSuns 5/3/1 program: this is your app.

Some of the features include:
• easy tracking of your progress in the gym
• supports 4, 5 and 6 day nSuns 5/3/1 templates
• automatic programming of your workouts including weight progression and rep scheme

This app was originally designed for myself as there was no considerable alternative app in the store which suited my needs. As time went by and this project became more and more mature I decided to hand it to the public as well. Honestly cannot believe this is free.
Firstly, this is hands down better than most if not all premium workout apps out there. All you do is input some initial numbers when you first open the app, and then it keeps track and also progresses all your lifts for you weekly. I’m currently doing the 6-Day Deadlift program, and I’ve been using it every day for the past 5 weeks. If 6 days per week is too much for you, there are also 4 and 5 day options as well. This is the first time in years I’ve been motivated enough to gym consistently, and this app has been essential through it all. Huge thanks to this amazing app developer. I encourage everyone to donate through the app, because it is genuinely well deserved and worth the money.

One suggestion: If the app could somehow track the progression of other things, like accessories, body weight, etc, that would be unbelievable. Thanks again, and looking forward to your future updates and improvements!

No other program like it
I’m a (former) veteran hardgainer, but I’ve been working out seriously since I was a Junior in high school (about two years). I’ve tried a few other programs for 4-5 months at a time, always with gains in mass and strength but not quite as fast as most of my peers. However that all changed as soon as I started nSuns, specifically with this app. I put on 30lbs in three and 1/2 months, mostly in muscle, and joined the 1000lb club, and I’d credit most of that progress to this app. The developer did a great job with it in every way. There are virtually no glitches and the quality of the layout is better than some premium apps I’ve tried for other programs. Specifically I used the 6-day squat variant but changed around the order of the days to emphasize squat more. The program itself is weird af, but it works. I’m kicking myself that I didn’t start using this app two years ago.

Fantastic Program
This is easily the best workout program I've done. I've gotten the most gains I've ever had and I've had the most fun I've had doing it. I'm so glad I found this app because it's honestly improved my life by making me enjoy lifting for the first time in my life. And it's free to boot! However, I will be donating if possible (need to look).

There are only a few improvements I think would make it even that much better. It would be great if I could input a max weight for an accessory workout and have it set my sets and weights just like the second exercise. I also have issues with the countdown timer. If I leave the app and come back, the timer disappears when I come back in. There is also no alarm/beep sound for me when the timer hits zero.

Great App !
This app is great it keeps track of all my lifts and seeing my progression over time is sweet. I can really see how much I have grown over time. There are great templates to follow but you can also edit these templates to your liking. I would strongly recommend this app as it is easy to use and FREEE!
What would make this app better is if there could be a way to export all the data to an excel sheet or something. Or a way to transfer all the data to a new phone. If someone gets a new phone all their progress and data cannot be transferred and will have to start over from the beginning

Awesome tracker
Allows you to track your training. I would say it utilizes a good program in order to get you stronger. Very organized. Only thing I would note that would make it better is if it would allow you to change the days of the week.

Update: This App allows for a lot of variations from your main lifts and accessories. I’m able to track everything really easily. Once you finish a cycle week the next weeks cycle is already updated with your new TM. This app is amazing after going through it thoroughly.

Great App, great program
This app is awesome. Everything that other reviewers say on here is true.

The only cons for me are that you can’t change the days of the week for the templates (say, to include Saturday and Sunday, and rest days on Monday and Tuesday). Also it doesn’t incorporate anything for timed workouts. For instance, planks, running, sprints, etc. I suppose I could put the rep number as the number of seconds or yards, but what if I want to hold a certain pace for running or swimming? These are super minor, but I’m hoping the developer makes these changes soon!

This app made me grow hair on my chest
I was doing PPLx6 days prior to hearing about nsuns. The workout looked brutal and complicated and I'm not the sharpest ball in the shed so naturally, I looked to see what apple-ications for the iPhone were online to assist me in this endeavor. Lo mein and behold, to my surprise, I found this app. The developer isn't greedy like the majority and keeps the app free. You can support him however and buy him a coffee because he has been staying up all night coding to help lowly plebs like me. Love you babe. Keep up that good work.

Will change your life (if you let it!)
This is the only app I’ve ever submitted a review for. The workout progresses you through both weight and volume building through an easy to use interface. It’s flexible on adding accessory work but rigid enough on the main lifts. Just show up at a gym and follow the directions, repeat at least four times a week.

Yeah, you still gotta put in the work. But it helps you realize your goals and graph them as you progress.

Better than spreadsheets.
Back in October, when I started lifting, I couldn’t find an app that suited what I wanted, so I just used google sheets. Literally, for the past 8 months I would use google sheets, then go back to my stopwatch app to make sure I was making rest times (my gym is being renovated for the next heat and no access to clocks).

This app is great. Timing between sets, calculating PRs and ORMs, library of accessories and recommendations—wish I had it 8 months ago!

Awesome app(with a minor bug)
I recently installed this app and I absolutely love it. However, when I open it for the day it pops up with the setup screen and the “done” option greyed out. It’s easily fixed by deleting a training max value and re-entering it. After this you can press done and all your data is still there. It’s only a minor inconvenience but I wanted to let you know. Otherwise, this app is awesome. I really enjoy the timer between sets option and the easy to use design.
