I am enjoying this app. My normal routine is to do a lesson somewhere I can stop and read the Italian while listening. Then over the course of the day I will listen when I have a break or in the car. (Note not driving friendly to repeat or move to another lesson - too many clicks for that). At some point I go back to listening while reading.
All in all I spend about an hour on each lesson. This isn’t learn Italian in a day per se, but learn Italian with 24 total hours of studying.

Clear pronunciation, tied to the written word making it easy to practice
This is a no frills app that is highly effective. It’s really easy to use and you can practice while you are driving because each lesson plays. You can easily go back listen to each section when you want to refresh or reinforce what you have learned. I’ve paired it with Duolingo and I’m learning the basics fast.

I purchased all the lessons for $6.99. Now it’s telling me that if I want to have the lessons play in an endless loop I have to spend more. None of this was mentioned anywhere on the App Store or on the app. Go find another app for your language lessons that will clearly explain the costs before you spend your money.
And even the the app says that I purchased all the lessons it appears that I only purchased a one year lease on the lessons and will try to charge me more next year. Going to the App Store right now and turning off any further payments to this company.
Why couldn’t they have been upfront about all they’re hidden costs.

I like this App because it’s handy to review a category quickly.
What would make it even better would be:
* ability to have a category repeat in a continuous loop: When I’m driving, I can’t be pulling over to unlock my phone again and pressing play
* categories for full conjugation of couple sample verbs

Nice as either an intro or review
Nicely categorized with all the necessary words and simple phrases you need to get by. Each is pleasantly and clearly pronounced.
I find it a useful and enjoyable adjunct to apps like Duolingo, which concentrate on building phrases and move ahead a bit slowly if you’re looking for a quick hit of the basics.

I’ve tried a number of apps and this one I seem to be learning the most in the shortest amount of time with. I only wish they had a quiz option as I’ve seen on some other apps. What would also be helpful is if it could reverse the inquiries so that it’s asking you in Italian to translate to English. I just find that’s another way to really know if I’m learning this stuff.

Just started using this last week. Love that I can play it in the car while driving and don't have to look at my phone - and that I have a chance to say the word before it tells me to test my knowledge :)

Great for beginners
The speakers pause long enough for you to follow out loud. They pronounce each word slowly so that you can understand each syllable of every word. App is not totally free - you must pay $6.99 to unlock other lessons. Wish list for improvement: 1) Automatic repeat for lessons 2) Automatic advancement to the next lesson. 3) Additional lessons such as possessions, pronouns, etc.

Overall, great app
My family and I are going to Italy this summer, so I decided o learn some Italian. I’ve been using the app for a little while now, and it’s very useful, although I don’t think you could learn Italian in 24 hours. I wish that there was a test for each category in which all the words/phrases were mixed up.

Love the easy access to words and phrases!
The content organization is great for quick and easy reference while in country with native speakers, and the tempo perfect for a beginner! I've used both 24 Hour French and Italian now and not be disappointed.
