Praise for Lifeline:

“I’ve played many games that I find engrossing, but Lifeline may be one of the first that changed the way I thought about my daily routine, which leapt off the screen and became a part of my lived experience.” - Eli Cymet, Gamezebo

“For a few brief hours I cared – really cared – about the fate of a completely fictional character. I don’t think any other game I’ve played has made me feel that way before.” - Matt Thrower, PocketGamer

Mr Sword,
I love Taylor!
Probably my favorite out of the 3 games so far in the Green series. The plot was very interesting and engaging and Taylor is such a lovable character, i got a lot more immersed into this game than i did with the others. I loved the touch with the Lonely Astronaut playlist; I listened along to the songs with Taylor and for a moment it really felt like they were a real person, like a friend of mine and we were sharing music with each other. I do wish the game had been longer and the player had more choices. I was really hoping for a feature like the map in the second game to be in this one, so that was a bit disappointing. Hopefully in future games, theyll include something like that, it really made the game feel more real and interesting imo. As emotionally attached as i was to Taylor during this, gameplay wise it didnt feel like there were enough options for the player that really affected the game. Some of the same options came up several times in a row and it really felt like the game was pushing me towards that choice, so some of the choices i made really didnt feel like they were mine. Hopefully the next game will be more interactive and personal and a lot longer. I cant wait for more games in this series and to continue being Taylors lifeline!
Zappy0888,
Another great Taylor adventure!
Really enjoyed this game. My favorite is still the original as I got into that with no idea of what it was. But this one is great too. Such an ominous feeling while helplessly guiding this poor dude around to safety. Never thought a text game would be so addicting but all of the lifeline series seems to do that. I highly recommend leaving notifications on (not something I normally allow but it's worth it in this game). Only true downside is the length. It's a short game. But the quality is there so I'm giving it 5 stars and have no regrets about spending $3 on the app. And I'll keep buying them as they come out if the quality stays the same.

Only feedback to the developers: when you finish the game the game nonstop asks you to restart it. Since finishing it yesterday I've had probably 15 alerts asking me to restart the story. I can see you notifying people weekly or biweekly but not multiple times a day or even daily. But otherwise it's a great game!
Nicolas Cadge 😝,
My Opinions
Ok first off if you don't make a fourth one somehow I will personally write you a very angry email😝. JK. But seriously there needs to be more. This was a magnificent story and character. It was so enthralling it kept pulling you in at every turn. But!! It stopped to suddenly. It was like the story literally just threw "Taylor is dead" into your face and ended. What happened to Mari, the occupied marines, and the cargo bays full of occupiers? Did Taylor survive? Will he come back? How can Mari even get out of the pod she has no thrusters and I suspect it would be safe to assume she doesn't l have a SAFER Unit. Please contact me if you are planing on making another one in this storyline. Even if it is not with Taylor(would prefer it be with him), but with Mari and her baby struggling to survive against the occupiers and telling how she got on the ship. Please because I really want to know this is my favorite lifeline series and I would like to know if it has ended or not. You left us uncertain with the ending because of the way ended it. And that is a problem. Because as the Alliance Fleet Admiral Black Jack Geary once said to his subordinates "There is no greater pain than uncertainty and anxiety combined." May your Ancestors be with you. The Lost Fleet is the book series's name.
GG447,
One of the best series out there
Lifeline is an amazing series. It truly is and the best part about it is that u actually really connect with this fictional character. The one part about taylor that makes u connect with him is that he will talk with you he has a story and background that he talks to you about.(lol i feel like i am writing an obituary)He even makes corny jokes. He acts and talk like an average joe and it makes u think about your every day life and towards the end of this game or chapter of Taylor's life i almost cried because he had a normal life and he went to space to learn and all of the sudden he has the weight of the universe on his shoulders and he does not give up but thats only because of you, you help him survive and in the end he makes the ultimate sacrifice and saves the life of Mari instead of himself and i built up this connection and it felt like a family member died. So ultimately 3mg keep going with this story, continue the lifeline don't pull the cord.
Boopabelle,
Less pop culture references, please
I adored the first Lifeline game, but man, does this one almost feel like it’s written by someone else. The writing is just SO focused on seeming clever by dropping nearly-constant pop culture references; it’s not a trait I remember noticing much at all during the first game, so it was kind of odd to suddenly have Taylor doing it what felt like every other conversation. The more it went on, the more it honestly made Taylor less relatable and kind of annoying (I’m also not sure why someone from the future seems to communicate entirely in our-era pop culture, really).

The timing of the “real time” messaging didn’t feel as “real” this game, either. Some of the choice prompts honestly just didn’t feel like a choice someone would make while in a near-death situation (Taylor, why are you staying awake to comment on every song on this spaceship playlist ((AGAIN with the pop culture references)), please just go to sleep).

Overall, I still enjoyed the game, but it’s definitely the weakest of the Taylor stories.
Just Jack Nothing Else,
Amazing
If your wondering if the 99 cents are worth it I’m going to put your mind at ease. I’ve played all three games in the green series and it’s absolutely fantastic. You fall in love with this goofball Taylor as you help him make life or death decisions. He always has a witty pop culture reference and makes you think of him as a real live person. The thought that must of been put into developing him as a character was meticulous to say the least. The creators built this world that you feel very connected to almost like an episode of Star Trek or Star Wars or anything really space related. So if you are thinking maybe I shouldn’t get this game your wrong this game is so much fun with a lot of anticipation. Although the breaks are long it’s good to get away from the game a little bit.
Airon618,
Wish there was more choices & longer gameplay
I love being able to communicate with Taylor again, but compared to previous games with this character is just seemed like a big science lesson (which is fine) but left room for only a couple of judgment calls and most of those were common sense. I feel they kinda just gave us this game because they could and they knew people would buy it. Waiting this long to play Taylor again I felt should have been more interactive and a longer storyline. When I got to the end, I was "Are you serious? I've waited that long just for this?" The first couple games if you don't play in fast mode, take at least 2-3 days to play and there are more choices (even if they're wrong) that you can make. I was done with this one in less than 24 hours. I understand Lifeline generates money but can Big Fish give us more for the cost. Happy to see Taylor again but I feel a little cheated.
GHOST_WALL,
i am weeping
I don’t write reviews for anything but I feel like I have to for this game because otherwise what is the point of life. I just finished this one and haven’t yet played BYiT bc, I kid you not, I still need to emotionally recover from this one. I have never been so emotionally attached to anything. Not even Bird Alone could make my cry the way this has bc it just feels so real. It makes me wish Taylor was real. She says she wishes she could see or hear you, and you wish the same. It makes you wish you could bring her back to earth safely even though she is many, many light years away, making it impossible… or at least it makes *me* wish these things. Not only that, but the suspense that builds is phenomenal. Everything about this series and about her character, is so human, yet is also perfectly balanced with otherworldliness and cosmic lore. I was always felt excited when she notified me and a lil anxious when she was busy. <3

Obviously, I can’t promise you’ll have the same experience that I did, but you will definitely have a strong experience playing this game.

Also, the soundtrack SLAPS.

An emotional joyride
At first I thought this story would be boring and another read along story but boy was I wrong. As I started to talk with Taylor guide her and assure her that I would get her out of this situation and that she would get back home alive. I would tell more but I don't want to spoil the game for anyone. If I could give this game a rating it would be a 100 out of 10 and I sincerely mean that. I hope be able to guide Taylor back home from where ever she ends up next!

PS: I had to use that silly name because there was no other nicknames available. In the future you guys should make a Kickstarter to fund the development of a game where the player can help and interact with these characters in a 3D environment. Plus have it be on console and/or on PC. Keep up the good work.
Dazzikins,
Love This series
I remember as a child, reading choice stories and loving them because you could sort of be interactive with the author to finish the story. Taylor, is a well made protagonist and very relatable; you've done a great job building him into the hero that readers want.

As for the plot, it's amazing! It's been a while since I've read a story with cool little plot twists in it. I find myself upset if Taylor doesn't get the choice tats good for the story and this previous installment has made me anxious for the next one (cause I KNOW there's got to be more for Taylor, right?!)

A story for Mari would be nice, but let's face it: Taylor is the man of the hour and he's the reason why I even downloaded the other LLC games like this. Seriously, good job.
