notjohnmartin,
Good reference
This is a pretty good reference for paleo eating and very simple and easy to use. Sometimes it would be nice to have the reason why. Chickpeas, for example. I didn't know they are legumes and I had to google it to figure out why they were a "No". Also, not everything in the app is correct. All the Larabar energy bars were lumped together with the same result but some of the bars are paleo. It's odd to have them all listed individually but not evaluated individually. 4 stars is slightly generous because the ads are annoying.
Lilly Cate,
I love this app
This app was a life saver...I had trouble figuring out what I can eat but now i know and am more aware and serious about my Paleo diet. One of my favorite parts about this app is the FAQ. The FAQ is so helpful because I learned a lot I didn’t know and now I am very aware once again. I owe it all to this app!
mirageh,
Great idea, inconsistent info
Although I love how the app works, it will lead you astray on some of its answers. Dairy is never paleo but it gives a yes to some things for being fermented, and a maybe/no on other things that are fermented. I notice it also gives a maybe to skim milk but a no on whole milk. If you were going to consume dairy (like a primal diet) skim milk would be the last thing you would put in your body. Skim milk is as not compliant as it gets in dairy.
Only Essential Apps,
Only Essential Apps
Condensed. Not necessary to list the whole fast food chain menu. Just put the name of the company & why nothing is good from them. The app needs to be updated. Put a eat this not this section, with the core or foundation of the paleo diet. New ICON please.
YoCatholicMamma,
Full-screen pop-ups; Ironic ads...
Full-screen pop-ups every 30-60 seconds make this almost unusable. Plus, the large banner ad for McDonald's at the bottom of the screen isn't exactly helpful. Nor is the ad for Planned Parenthood. I just want info on the Paleo diet.
Sophie and Samantha,
Awesome!!!!
One of the most informative apps ever!!!
JonesGirl,
ADS!
I have paid for this app twice and I’m still getting ads. Deleting now.
Michell2k16,
I love it
Very helpful
Ramsey2000,
It's not bad
It's not bad but it's not great either. Some of the names of foods-example: When scanning snacks and fast food: there's not enough room on the line to say the whole name of the food-(Awesome Foods-Bell) is all it shows. I have no idea what that is because I have never seen the brand awesome food to before and I don't know what Bell is. So it doesn't really help me. They need more room to complete the names of foods.
GumonyerShoe,
Great idea
I love the idea behind this but there are several foods that have conflicting information. When I tried to find a way to contact the developers their site wouldn't work and I don't see another way to contact them.

I have the same complaints about the names being too long so you can't ever see what it really is you're looking at. I guess it's work if you were typing out the name to search but just browsing it's frustrating.
