PodderCentral® Hack 3.2 + Redeem Codes

I am a newer omnipod user (probably about a year or so, been pumping for YEARS now) I LOVE OMNIPOD AND THE AUTOMATIC REORDER THROUGH THE APP. I’ve tried Medtronic and animals and as far as I know NOW they don’t have an app. My ONLY issue with the app is that it does not keep you logged in.

I have everything written down and if the app is worried about idk security maybe add a Touch ID, otherwise I don’t know why I have to log in and log in and continue every time. Not really a big deal just a bit frustrating.

Customer service keeps telling me I can report failed pods through app, but if it’s there, I couldn’t find it even after clicking everything- also couldn’t get it to register new pdm - error message saying call customer support which defeats the purpose , and FaceId can’t be set up - sends me to settings, but it’s not an option (works on other apps - so it’s something about their interface with Apple and/or really just isn’t an option)

Easy to pay bills though, so that’s what I use it for

The app seems to be pretty great so far. The added convenience of Touch ID would be great for logging in, or even just remaining logged in would be handy. Logging in each time has been annoying. The carbohydrate counter doesn’t list very much either. It’s a very bare minimum amount of information. Other than that it has been pretty great so far!

The website says I need to be invited or request invitation I keep trying to register for the first time and it won’t let me it keeps telling me to please check other emails. As if I already have an account. I’m registering for the first time and there’s nothing about requesting a profile. So frustrating! now I need to take time out of my day to call them for something that should be simple. Why do we need to be invited? That’s so strange everyone who has an Omnipod should be able to use the app.

The app only works sometimes but I haven’t been able to get onto it for a couple of weeks, if I go online it says something went wrong. I contacted support and they reset it but that only worked for a day. I’m unhappy with the company anyway. I tried to order pods when I started my last box and a month later I am still waiting. I’ve been out of pods for a while and they keep sending me 3 at a time but I can’t keep doing that I’m frustrated with the whole system

After jumping through all the ordering ‘hoops’ it tells me my order is not complete, they are sending me a confirmation email. The email never arrives. I’ve updated my email in case that was the problem, re-ordered, still waiting for a confirmation.
May as well delete the app and order by phone. (Which I’ve learned is not a 24/7 operation)
Update:
I deleted the app for about 4 months and reinstalled it. Then I placed an order for Pods and so far the process is working, I haven’t gotten the Pods yet but have been notified they are on the way.
So far it’s doing its ’one job’.

Communication is terrible! I got an email stating my order would be sent out the week of September 26th. I never got my pods or any communication from Omnipod that they needed info fri my insurance company. I talked with some last week as I had one pod left and got 2 pods via fedex lam now again on my last pod but got no feedback that they are still trying to get authorization from my insurance company. They are sending me again 2 emergency pods that I will get tomorrow. So what happens tonight if my pod fails? I am almost ready to switch to Medtronic!!!!

I would love for them to update the app to support the iPhone X versions. It’s been out for a while. Also, additional information about the Omnipod Dash system and what we need to do to be able to update. Adding this information to the app would be transparent and helpful. Thank you Insulet for all that you do for us Podders!

1. It can’t remember login information, even when the “Remember Me” box is checked on the home page. As others have stated, TouchID would be nice.
2. Order history is not current. I have had 3 shipments in 2019 directly from Insulet, not a middleman supplier, and the order history shows my last orders from 2017(?)!
3. While the app confirms I am on auto-ordering, I have had to call Insulet because I have not received any order status reports
through the app (this was the reason for downloading in the first place).

All of this leads me to NOT recommend that others download this app. If the issues still exist by the time of my next auto-order, the app will be deleted. The OmniPod is a great product, but Insulet has provided a lousy application.

I see no point to this app. There is no actual connection to either the Pod or PDM. It randomly pops up “tips” in my notifications and the app is just a list of tips and advertising for other products. I had hoped the Omnipod system would be modern enough to interface with smart phones, but not so. You can only manage the Pod via their archaic device that has a screen no better than my Nokia phone from 2001.
