iPad App Virgin,
The “update” to the app is so misleading…
I love my AromaTech diffusers. The app used to allow the user to select settings for the scent to come on and off. For example, on for 30 seconds-off 120 seconds… versus selecting the preset 1 to 9 setting. As a user, I got it down to a preferred setting (science) - then Aromatech did an “UPDATE”! It removed the password, albeit annoying, it was fine. Then it gives a prompt only for the AromaMini BT, and not their AT600. Which only after reaching out via chat, was told that you have to open the unit, hit the “reset” button & you lose all your previously stored settings. So if you have a few around your house (like I do) - then you have to do a few resets and reprogramming of each. (That was a bit annoying!) I don’t understand what the UPDATE is really meant to do. They removed things that made this bluetooth feature appealing. I don’t need the darn bluetooth other than setting a time for it to come on and off now. I can set intensity on the unit itself. What a waste of technology “update”!
ycontrol_1,
The “1” reviews explain ownership of this device, period!
I've had my 2 diffusers for about 2.5 years. I purchased a new and refurbished one. During the first year, I had to send in my diffuser for multiple repairs, and the following year the same story. One of the diffusers kept leaking the oil from the diffuser inside the chamber, which is a waste of product. Now both devices are not putting out the scent properly and I was told in an email to reset the machine and re-add it back to the app. The app can’t locate the diffuser. I am a big believer in putting money into items that have a significant return on value. Unfortunately, these diffusers are not.

For future purchasers, I am not going to recommend this device. I think anyone who values their dollar, especially in a time of inflation would pass over this diffuser and seek a diffuser elsewhere.
Donziwill,
App updated a week ago?
Idk if the app update from a week ago caused a problem but when I open the app it’s white and does not show my BT MINI as it used to all it says is select your device but there is nothing to select. I tried a reset as aromatech suggested by holding power button down until I hear 2 beeps but that does nothing absolutely frustrating an app so simple that is total garbage why spend the extra money to buy the BT model if it doesn’t work with a junk app
jared1122,
Works fine for me
Despite a bunch of reviews to the contrary, I haven’t had any problems with this app. Connects every time, settings stay the way I set them, and the device (AroMini BT) emits scent according the schedules I created. The acknowledgment beep is unnecessary and probably a bit louder than it needs to be, but that’s not a huge problem since the scheduling allows me to set it and forget it. It’s a no-frills app that maybe looks like an amateur developer made it, but it gets the job done on my iPhone 12 Pro (if that makes a difference).
lll1424,
This app made me return the diffuser
What a horrible excuse of an app. The AromaTech isn’t cheap , folks. It’s over 300 dollars and this app looks like it was made by a 7 year old . The diffuser makes this horrible beep after you log in. The “interface “ if you can call it that is horrendous. It’s ugly and outdated. You can’t control outside of the home and it won’t tell you how much of the oil is left. There’s absolutely no Alexa support. Do better. For the amount of money folks pay , we expect a stellar app. This isn’t it.
FeedbackIsGood,
Scenting App Not Working after iOS update
I’ve tried multiple times on my iPad and on my phone and I can’t seem to get the Scenting app to connect to the diffuser at all. This used to work but I noticed it stopped working after upgrading to iOS 16. I’ve also had multiple issues with the diffuser and even sent it back while it was under warranty and the correspondence through email was less than helpful to put it nicely.
peachlemonade,
Waste of Money
I have the aromatech AT-600 BT & it’s an absolute pain. This app doesn’t load 90% of time which means you can’t control the scent level at all. If you have previously set the scent level at high via the app and now want to change the level or turn the device off you can’t because the app isn’t loading. So know you have to darn near break into
The device to remove the battery, I’ve broken 2 nails trying to get this device open. Please save your money.
fsdtuh,
Functionality is non-existent
You can set several different schedules and scent intensities. That’s all. I opted for the Bluetooth option so that I could control my unit remotely. Turn it on/off and set the intensity from another room in addition to scheduling. Why wouldn’t the app developers include this option? Seems rather intuitive. It’s not as sophisticated as I had hoped. Disappointed.
Fun like the 70's,
It must be better now
Despite All the bad reviews
As of today july 15, 2021
The app is all better now, there haven't been any problems so far.
xnickmarx,
Not sure why ratings are so low.
Works perfectly for me. I have the aromini BT, and everyone is amazed by it - and we live in Beverly Hills. No issues with this device whatsoever and the app is great. Simple.
