Balance and constructed issues...
Good game but scaled opponents should and need to be implemented and improved if you want people to pay money for content. Too many games do this and think by painting free to play players into a corner that they’ll all relent and buy cards. Fix the blatant and glaring issues and this game would be and could be worthy of the GW stamp. While the content of the story components is spot on and exhilarating to take part in, it gets tedious when the skill I have in deck building(25 years + tournament Magic the Gathering)means little to nothing against opponents that get cards digitally placed into their hands and answer any strategy I come up with(aggro, control, burn, etc.) is systematically countered by an established opponent who has 3x or more cards than I do, or an ai that just happens to have the answers to said strategies I’ve employed. So fix these problems or else be content with the cult niche you own. Otherwise the story is engaging but would like to see it mean something and go somewhere, as if the choices I make impact my individual game experience. Sic Tur Ad Astra

Breathtaking, Simple, Elegant…
I love everything about this game, it is simply fantastic. I am speaking as one who has not spent a dime in this game. Patience is required to get a good deck going, the R and G isn’t too bad either. From the get-go, I found it wise to get a feel for what factions I liked best, the campaigns do a great job at this - though I would appreciate more opportunities to test drive different factions. As long as you complete the daily mission and challenge, you have a good shot at getting decent cards… Not to mention saving up tickets and doing the events, I recommend saving up at least 10 and then going at it. Even more so, as a growing Warhammer fan, this is the perfect game for me; I’ve learned a bit from all of the cards and their descriptions. While the lore offered in this game is no substitute for the vast and awe-inspiring content from the books, it is still something. As a final note, kudos to the devs for adding campaigns, keep up the good work and do keep this game alive. I am looking to see what comes next.

Best 40k Mobile Game in Existence
A fantastic card game. I love other games such as Magic the Gathering and Hearthstone but truly Legions does not disappoint being complex enough for various strategies and fun to keep you coming back. I am a fan of Horus Heresy and Warhammer40k. I read the books and play the tabletop game. I love how the developers seem to have truly studied the lore in order to craft this well thought out masterpiece. I also like the fact that they are generous in offering copious amounts of free rewards that incentivize players to play every day. And that very generosity makes me actually want to spend more money and buy things in the game in order to support the devs, hell the very week i downloaded i was so motivated because of the free packs that i purchased some of the decks they had on offer. Thank you very much for making this, i hope you keep adding more legions in time, love what you did that you make the style of gameplay of every legion coherent with the way the actual legions operate, the cards truly represent the characters well and do them justice. A must if you are a HH fan
I am a long time HH fan having read pretty much all the books in the HH series and collect the Black Library book as well as modeling. I came across this game by accident and after do just fell in love the game. I literally have no card game experience at all so just went into it with an open mind.
+I love the HH artwork so seeing them on the cards is fantastic
+Of course balancing all the HH armies is a full time job but I have to admit they did a fantastic job capturing the feel of each HH faction like DG are slow and immovable, RG is fast hitting etc
+While there could be some variety with the music, I admit the voice acting for the generals are good.
+You don’t have to pay it seems but of course being a diehard UM and IF fan, I did pay the 9.99 for the starter deck for them. I tell myself it i cheaper then buying the models and books.

Best card game one major suggestion
This card game is amazing completely captures the fast paced brutality of warfare in this universe (major one is Warhammer 40k but this is based in its history around 30-31k). The only major flaw that I find is the inability to play as the faction you want from the get go. Now I understand the first five missions being a tutorial so you use a stock deck, but as soon as the shop opens I would suggest giving the option to buy 1 deck of any of the current factions as many players such as myself are fans of the universe and want to use a certain faction to play. For me it’s the Custodes I’m even ok with the price of $9.99 for the complete decks of factions that you do sell. The problem is you only give the option each day to buy any of 3 random ones which means you could be waiting awhile to get the one you want such as myself now on day 7 of not playing at all other than to check in each day to check the shop while I wait to get the faction I want to play with. Fix this and the game is an easy 5 stars thanks for the great work!!!!!!!!!!

This game does a really good job of feeeling true to the WH 30k lore and is much more generous with giving cards and gold than many other card games. There is always an element of pay-to-win in these kinds of games b/c people who drop big money on legendary cards and many card packs are obviously going to advance faster, but this is WAY less of a problem here than in Hearthstone. There is also regular new content to keep the game fresh.
However there is a huge problem with this game: it crashes ALOT. I crash pretty much every day, losing my match, and I regularly “win” matches b/c my opponent disconnected. This is frustrating especially in the Events where you play until you lose three times.
Games devs, if you read this, please fix the crashes, its way more important to your game then more content. I have yet to spend a dollar b/c I will NOT spend money on a game that crashes every day. Fix the crashing and you will be more successful in earning money from players.

3 years and still play daily
As a person that’s spent 13 years learning about warhammer 40k and 30k I was pretty excited to start playing this game. As I started I had fun but it seemed I had to spend money to get good stuff, now please remember this is 3 years ago and the updates to this game have been amazing! Now with the campaign feature you’re able to actually get better cards for the 18 legions aswell as nice card backs. The amount of content in this game is awesome and yea it’s just a reskinned hearthstone but I find it so luring to reply it, because all the lore backing 30k is awesome and it actually teaches you the storyline and lore. I’ve gotten maybe 50 or so friends hooked onto this game and I hope they keep releasing new content.

So I just came back to this game after maybe 2 months of being gone the Meta is soooo pointlessly broken. More then half the cards aren’t even close to viable. Inter factions have no builds that can win. 300 plus dollars later and well over 100 hours in the game. I can say it’s not at its best state Balance wise. I have had a lot of fun with this game... in the past would have gave it 5 stars at the time of the alpha legion drop. They apparently did this huge change with a lot of cards rules, think that might be a lot of my gripe. Yet it’s really unsatisfying to play decks that literally just use broken 1/1 spam to turn 5 win with Garo or whatever his name is. 3 expansions later and we still only have one bad bored wipe card that has a chance of only doing 1 damage to everyone... feels like they just sped up the meta cuz people were complaining and now nothing besides face punch 1/1 is any good. There are things I like about the game just at this time I’m annoyed with the direction it’s in.

If you play ranked you will hit a money ceiling like all the other mobile games. Sad, but nothing new. For some that is ok as long as the slow grind of reg campaign gameplay is good enough. Not with this game, you'll get assigned campaigns with the worst pre-made build a deck possible then shoved in front of an computer opponent whose deck is not only a total counter to all the cards you have and cannot change but also pull and play the right card for the right moment, every. Single. Freaking. Time.
Not only that, you're placed in a gauntlet so even if you manage to skate by one or two character opponents, if you lose to one, you have to play against all the previous opponents over again. Literally no incentive to keep trying when you have almost 15 health points and eggs computer can cheese you down to 0 if not right above it.
Stick with the tabletop, books and lore videos. This game could literally make you hate the franchise.

This Game Needs Work Done
For starters, it needs a better reward system. Secondly, it need balance checks on some of the cards. For example, “Duke Mortecher” is a 4/7 that can bounce troops to hand. I don’t have a problem with the bounce part, just his stats. It needs to be lowered. Another one that was recent is “Atesh Tarsa”, who if you pay 2 energy, you give all your creatures Survivor 1. To combat this, either make a clause that says those with survivor cannot gain it anymore while on the field, or make GENERIC removal and boardwipes. This is because Atesh can set up a big board, then it is hard to even play anymore. However, the game is fun. At the beginning, it tells you how to play, but it does give a misleading impression that it is one of those campaign games. It is PVP. You get to play as your favorite space marine chapter (whether Imperium or Chaos), along with interesting warlords and lore that expands the Horus Heresy.
