Great app and great service! A must have!
I’m not one to typically do a review but this app and developer deserves one. At 39, I decided to go back to the gym and destroy this dad bod image. It’d been a long time and I wanted a “road map” so I wasn’t just there wasting time. I found this app and started the stronglifts 5x5 program. While I was getting stronger I wasn’t really seeing much difference in the mirror so I switched programs to blood and chalk bodybuilder and bought the premium version of the app for customization. After about 6 months and noticing some definition, I decided to change programs again. I just started the nSuns 531 LP 6 day deadlifts about two weeks ago. What I’m saying is this program is so versatile that when you want to change it up just do your research and pick another program that fits for you. The extras you get for the premium version are well worth the cost and the best thing it’s not a monthly or even yearly payment. One time drop and it’s totally customizable. I recently sent an email to the developer for a bug fix with the Apple Watch integration and they responded within a few hours on a Sunday. I honestly can’t brag more about this app. I recommend it to all of the people that I lift with. It’s amazing and is exactly what you need to track your journey and get the job done in the gym.

The only app that fits my exercise needs
This is the only workout app with built in 5/3/1 program options that fit my needs. I've been doing the "Boring But Big" program, and I'm bigger and stronger at age 37 than I have been my whole life.

Other apps want to lock your workout schedule into certain days of the week, and just aren't made for someone whose busy life needs schedule flexibility. The app and programming is very customizable. That comes in handy when I don't have access to certain equipment, want to adjust my strength goals, or have the time and energy to throw in extra exercises/workouts.

The developer is constantly making updates and improvements based on user feedback. The developer is EXTREMELY responsive to emails, etc. I used it for free for a couple months before making a one time payment for the premium version, which unlocks a few more features that aren't 100% needed, but add great convenience. Totally worth it for me, but the free version is great, too.

Consistency is key and this app will help you
As a ‘beginner’ weightlifter in my mid 40’s I knew I would need to set some good habits in order to be successful.

I had been walking a lot and using Fitbit to track my progress and I knew that its mobile app really helped keep me focused.

When I decided to get into weightlifting I knew that trying to just do whatever I felt like during each workout wouldn’t cut it. Didn’t want to spend money for a coach and had some learning to do about the various lifts. I realized there must be an app for that. This is the app!

I chose the GZCLP program option because it keeps things simple and is well known as a good beginner program. This app easily takes you thru this program and several others are available to choose from. I did pay for the upgrade in order to tweak the exercises and set up my warmups.

The biggest benefit of the app is that it takes you thru each step without you having to manually track everything. History and statistics graphs are very helpful and motivating. Keeping you focused during rest periods is a great feature too. It’s a big help in staying consistent each week and keeping focused.

Been lifting for 6 months now with this app and down 20 pounds in body weight since starting. Feeling great!

Well done! Highly recommended for beginners looking to progress steadily.

I was searching for the best app to log my weightlifting. After going through almost every app in the App Store, I came across this one. Every logging app left another desire that if you combined them all, it would be perfect. A personal training coach does that. You have the option to import a template that the app will progress for you. The ability to make a set an AMRAP set (you won’t believe how many "lifting trackers" don’t have this simple feature). Not only that, but the interface is clean and minimal. I would like the circles to be regular data entry lines but this is nitpicking . This isn’t a lifting log, it’s a training app. If it wasn’t for the Reddit post in the r/gzcl I would have never found this app

Perfect for strength training. Nothing better!
As a software engineer myself, this is the exact app I’ve wanted to build for some time. I’ve been using this app since before it was called PERSEUS and it does exactly what I need. Very few bugs, and my guess is, if I was diligent enough to file a bug report it’d be addressed immediately.

I’ve done many programs on here, and created my own. I’ve been thrilled to see they’re all in line with the program specs, they reliably load and deload weight properly (even between cycles), and I’ve never had trouble with any data getting lost or corrupted. Super cool! Highly recommend!!!

Best app by far
Been using this for a little over a year now and the programs are so easy to follow that you don’t really even have to think about them. The warmup sets, rest timer, and the plate calculator make your workouts completely brainless and an absolute breeze to complete. You can focus entirely on hitting those lifts.

After about a year of lvysaur I switched to nsuns and all the calculations for training maxes were automatically carried over to the new program. Amazing.

It’s everything I want in a weightlifting app. Can’t recommend it highly enough. This app no doubt deserves some credit for keeping me going. It just makes everything so easy!

Excellent App Excellent Support
I’ve been using this app for the past 6 months and as a novice lifter it has simplified working out for me so much. It’s graphs make it easy to look and appreciate my progress and all the functions of the actual workouts from adjusting weights to it giving you your plates take the focus away from doing math and let me focus on my workout.
Additionally, I had an issue and emailed support. The reply was extremely quick and my issue was resolved in less than an hour. I was thoroughly impressed and satisfied with the service.
TLDR: Get the app, buy pro, and enjoy this awesome and functional app!

Really fantastic
I’m following the reddit r/fitness program advice of Phrak’s GSLP for 3 months, then 5/3/1 for Beginners for 6 months. This app made Phrak’s a snap, then seamlessly transitioned to 5/3/1 (automatically calculated my training maxes) when I was ready. The developer is super responsive and this app is a beast that has it all: customization, plate calculations, timers, warmups, even exercise demos. Surprised more people aren’t aware of it. I’m planning on sticking with this app when I eventually transition to more advanced 5/3/1 routines. To the developer: can’t wait to be able to customize the baked in workout routines!

Best weight lifting app!
I looked at 10+ apps and this one is by far the best. I am coming from StrongLifts which I also paid for because it was so great. I was ready to move to a PPL and wanted an app I could customize. This emulates all that is so great app the StrongLifts app but allows for customization. Also the one time flat fee is fair and I don’t have to worry about one more subscription in my life. Oh and I had a small bug issue and I was able to email the developer and get it fixed quickly. Stop thinking. Just buy it. And get back to lifting!

Has opportunity to be great
App has a lot of features and the one time fee is nice. Seems a bit buggy though. Warms ups showing up are hit or miss. I doubled checked incline bench and it has StrongLifts but no warm up shows up during the workout day. The timer has only worked a couple of times. I checked my phone and 3 minutes passed. Never got the 90 second alert. StrongLifts app is much more reliable but costs $20 per year and isn’t nearly as flexible. If he can fix the timer and warm up issue this would be great. Also more documentation on using the app would be helpful.
